I spoke to Prof Nahar. He is an exercise enthusiast, cum a specialist and a Professor at the Sports Medicine Department, UM. Indeed, weight loss should not be the target. Weight loss will happen regardless. One should be building the habit for a lifelong journey of being healthy. Focus on this lifelong journey and the weight loss will follow.
People with a bigger purpose in mind, which is to be healthy, rarely revert back to old habit. They will continue to work on turning their bad habit into a good routine. Hence, they are busy focusing on building good routine each day.
